NONE OF THE TOP 5 TEAMS LEFT A WORLDS BIRTH UP FOR GRABS
It took the"IF" game, but Detroit Drama proved that they were the best of the rest Saturday taking advantage of the weak competition, and earning their birth. Not to take away from their accomplishment, as they still beat a series of top 10 teams including a 13-1 whooping of Khaos who many thought were the tourney favorites. Detroit Drama had to play the Bulldogs 3 times in this tournament, once in the Winner Bracket Quarter Finals, and twice in the Finals. After losing to Drama in the Winners bracket, the Bulldogs won 5 straight in the Loser Bracket, than made it 6 wins in a row when they won the first game in the Finals. The most impressive part of the 6 wins was they did it without a single break. The Bulldogs played non stop softball for over 8 straight hours. The surprise team of the tournament was Baileys/Diamondbacks. Now that your done asking yourself "Who are they?" Ill tell you they had a combined 2 wins over 5 tournaments before winning 4 straight games in the Winners Bracket with quality wins over Mongolian, and Big Gamers. Colt 45's were a respectable 3-2 finishing in 4th place.
ALSO CONGRATS TO REPO MONKEY AND DO/MUSHTUBE WHO WENT DOWN THE WSL MIDWEST WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN CINCY. MUSHTUBE WAS KNOCKED OFF BY REPOMONKEY IN THE LOSER BRACKET SEMI FINAL TO FINISH 4TH WHILE REPOMONKEY FORCED THE "IF" GAME BUT CAME UP SHORT FINISHING IN 2ND.MOTOR CITY MOB FINISHED THE TOURNEY 1-2. Way to represent Michigan.
